Beer Festival Mobile App Updated

It’s July 2014 and I’ve been finding the time to update the popular mobile App I did for last two year’s festivals.  It contains the cask beers, bottled beers, and ciders – well it will once I process the excel files into my MySQL database.

The lists do change up to the last minute, so I’ll try and keep them spot on – but the main bulk of the beers are ordered and will be on their way.

The tasting notes and strengths should all be there by the festival – they may just change a little now in the next couple of weeks.

The mobile app should work on any mobile device – be that iPhone or Android, as it’s a ‘web app’ – it’s really a custom website for mobile use.   It lets you find beers by strength, style, brewery, or part of the world if you’re in the bottled beer section.

There’s even a free text search if you are looking for beers with specific flavours of hops, and it does work :-)

There’s also other festival info – opening times, the bands etc – and of course VOTING on the beers, so you can vote for your favourites, and even see what everyone else likes too.

Enjoy and please let anyone who will be visiting the festival know about the app – share the url; – cheers and enjoy the festival!
